Speed Camp:
Through July, we are offering speed training every Monday and Thursday from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm at local high schools. Emphasis will be on:
- upper and lower body mechanics,
- postural control, and
- application of game speed, i.e., using speed to accelerate and change direction.
Training will be conducted with parachutes, resistance bands, and medicine balls. Athletes should bring cleats and running shoes.
This training is free to Competitive Edge members, $5 per session if not.
