Fit-for-Life Program:

This two-hour physical fitness program for children in grades 1 through 6 takes place every Wednesday afternoon.  This program is designed to build your child's endurance and activity level.  The first hour will focus on conditioning and agility training, nutritional habits, and small motor function games.  The second hour will consist of a physical education style of curriculum to include games such as dodgeball, soccer, baseball, basketball, and kickball.  All sessions will focus on sports and games that emphasize, fun, teamwork, sportsmanship, and discipline.

This year, this program will be offered at Brouillet, Edgerton, Fruitland, and Pope Elementary schools and Stahl Junior High School.  Early registration is encouraged as space is limited at each location.

The Puyallup school district will provide one-way transportation from many Puyallup elementary schools to one of these locations.  Transportation will not be provided to participants at the end of each program session, so participants will need to be picked up promptly at the conclusion of each session.  Participants will need to have a signed permission slip on file at the school in order to be bused to their designated Fit-for-Life location.

Participants will need to wear proper clothing and footwear.  Each child will recieve a healthy snack every session.  The program fee varies by session as follows:
